Mavrud

Single varietal Mavrud aged in new oak barrels for 9 months and matured in bottles for at least 6 months. This wine was awarded a gold medal at the Concours Mondiale de Bruxelles 2017.

Grape variety: Mavrud 

Region: Thracian Lowlands

Type: Dry red wine

Colour: Saturated ruby colour 

Aroma: Warm scents of black cherry, dry leaves, spices and black chocolate

Taste: Full body with rounded mature tannins. A long finish with a feeling of softness.

Recommended use: Perfect with red meat and game dishes. It goes well with hard cheeses and pasta.

BULGARIAN HERITAGE
Rubin

 

Rubin is a young Bulgarian grape variety, a mixture between Nebiolo and Syrah. Its name comes from the deep-ruby color of the wine. 

We signed this Rubin with , standing for “V” like “verbs” or “verbal” from old Bulgarian alphabet, because communicating with a glass of this wine is always pleasing and engaging like the wine itself.

Region: Thracian Lowlands

Type: Dry red wine

Colour: Intense ruby colour with violet shades

Aroma: Rich aroma with scents of black pepper, herbs, blackberry, black cherry, dry leaves and black chocolate

Taste: Full body with spicy tannins and long finish

Recommended use: Perfect for meat dishes. Open 30 min before serving. Serve at room temperature.

BULGARIAN HERITAGE
Rose Mavrud

 

We chose to present our collection "Bulgarian Heritage" with letters from the first Bulgarian alphabet - the “Glagolitsa”. In this range is collected our passion for creating wines from traditional Bulgarian varieties. We marked this rosé from Mavrud with Ⰸ - the letter "H" as "Zemlia", from respect to the land that gives birth to our grapes.

Type: Dry rosé wine

Colour: Crystal pale pink colour 

Aroma: Mineral aroma combined with white flowers and raw nuts

Taste: Fine and elegant taste with excellent freshness. Scent of juicy white cherry and slightly spicy finish

Recommended use: Drink well chilled. The wine is splendid companion to seafood salads, fish dishes and cheeses.

Misket

 

Misket is a variety that does not worry about winter frosts. That’s why it excels a number of local and foreign varieties. Although the grapes are red, they are perfect for making white wines. We marked this Misket with Ⰶ - the symbol of "Ж" as "live" so we do not forget to live now.

Colour: Beautiful golden colour with green shades

Aroma: Delicate aroma with floral scents of field flowers and green apple

Taste: Well set body with excellent freshness and delicacy

Recommended use: Chill before use. Splendid either on its own or as a companion of fish and seafood.

Dimyat is an old dessert grape variety. It ripes early - with the fall of the first autumn leaves. The wines from that kind are usually fragrant, dry, and harmonic. We labeled this Dimyat with Ⰱ - the "Buki" symbol because we have followed the rules of winemaking letter by letter.

Type: Dry white wine

Colour: Attractive golden colour with sparkling greenish shades

Aroma: Complex aroma with scents of pine honey, roasted nuts, vanilla and pear

Taste: Beautifully structured body with fruity aftertaste and spicy finish

Recommended use: Suitable for white meat and fish dishes, grilled meat, seafood pizza and pasta

Colour: Vivid pale orange colour with light pink shades

Aroma: Pure, pleasant aroma, dominated by the scent of mature yellow apple in combination with floral aroma of spring flowers and citric fragrances typical of the grape variety

Recommended use: Goes perfectly well with seafood, mussels with light sauces, vegetable starters and light fish dishes

Orange Dimyat

Orange wines evidence that everything new is a well-forgotten old. Get ready for a surprising view of the Dimyat grape variety. It is aged for a month in new Bulgarian oak barrels of 400 and 500 l. Enjoy this wine with friends.

Type: Dry white wine

Colour: Pale orange with shiny glare.

Aroma: Intensive juicy aroma, slightly sweet, with scents of apricot, sugary fruits, vanilla and a touch of toasted bread.

Taste: Fresh, pleasant, fruity, slightly caramel taste. Medium body with nicely balanced freshness and sweetness. 

Recommended use: This wine is demanded company for seafood salads, gnocchi and pesto, salmon trout baked in salt, grilled pork chops, soft cheeses.
